Explanation
それぞれ is a Japanese noun that functions similarly to the English word 'each'. Like many nouns that can be used as adverbs (such as ほとんど, 沢山, or かなり), それぞれ can be placed before an entire sentence, or it can modify a specific noun when followed by の.

Fun Fact
The word それぞれ is written by repeating the kanji 其, which is the same character used in the word 其れ ('that'). This repetition of 'that' creates the idea of 'that one and that one', which naturally extends to mean 'each' or 'every individual'.
