Explanation
ばかりでなく is formed by combining the adverbial particle ばかり and the negative conjugation of the auxiliary verb だ. It translates to 'not just (A), but also (B)', or 'in addition to (A), also (B)'.
Because ばかり is an adverbial particle, it can attach to the attributive form of other words that come before it.
- 田中さんは勉強ばかりではなく、スポーツもよくできます。Tanaka-san is not only a good student, but he's also skilled at sports.
- このラーメンは美味しいばかりではなく、値段もかなり安い。This ramen is not just delicious, but it's also quite cheap.

As with all grammar that negates だ, you may encounter several variations. These include でなく, でなくて, ではなく, ではなくて, じゃなく, and じゃなくて. However, keep in mind that inserting the は particle will place a stronger emphasis on the negative aspect.
Caution
ばかりでなく is generally seen as a more formal expression than だけでなく. Consequently, だけでなく is used much more frequently in everyday conversation and writing.
